Kyle Walker argues with Lauryn Goodman as his ex-lover ‘complains about being offered a cheap doorbell to replace a broken security system’ at £2.4million home

England star Kyle Walker and his ex-lover Lauryn Goodman are embroiled in a new row over the security of her £2.4million home.

The 34-year-old bought the Sussex mansion for his former lover and their two children as part of her bizarre demands for child support contributions.

Walker, who shares four children with wife Annie Kilner, had an affair with Goodman, with whom he fathered a son, Kairo. It later emerged that he had fathered a second child, Kinara, with the model and influencer.

As part of a bitter legal battle, Walker agreed to buy and maintain the £2.4 million mansion.

Goodman, 33, was offered a Ring Doorbell after the hi-tech intercom security system at her home failed, but she insists the cheaper alternative won’t provide the peace of mind she needs for her family.

The TV personality was able to monitor visitors on CCTV footage and open her driveway gate with the former Control4 system. But insiders say she is now furious about the lack of security at Ring.

A source said The sun: ‘The system continued to fail, which worried her. ‘She felt quite vulnerable. It is the children of top football players who live there and safety is essential.

“So she contacted Kyle’s property manager and asked if they could get it fixed.

“They said no and instead offered a Ring Doorbell system, which doesn’t provide nearly the same level of security and doesn’t open the gate. She’s angry.’

A source close to Walker told MailOnline that the footballer is ‘disappointed’ as Goodman seeks ‘public sympathy’ over ‘something he wasn’t even aware of’.

They added: ‘Under the court order – which was issued to protect Lauryn and her children – all maintenance requests go through the landlord who managed the property.’

The source said Goodman knows the proper procedure is to file an appeal, which will be filed with Walker.

It comes at a time when the ongoing war and paternity scandal shows no signs of stopping, with Goodman continuing to talk about it on her podcast.

Earlier this month, she responded to accusations from fans commenting on Kilner’s social media that she is “brainwashing” the children she shares with Walker.

On her Yours Sincerely podcast, Goodman revealed that a fan told her that Kilner “liked” negative comments about Lauryn and her children — despite also routinely liking many of her followers’ comments.

Goodman told co-host Lisa Andrews: ‘I got a message today saying that her page is being liked in comments about me apparently brainwashing my children. Can we touch that?

“Come on, what am I brainwashing my kid about?”

She turned to Lisa and asked, “Have I ever… You’re here, and you’re around me so often. I don’t bring up his dad (Kyle) to him (Kairo), right?

While Lisa confirmed that Lauryn “never” mentions her ex in front of her son, the Celebs Go Dating star continued, “We literally move on with our lives. We are a small family unit.

“I just think it’s crazy that people think I’m just sitting there trying to get him to rehearse things or something. What good would that do for my child? What matters to me is how my child will feel in the future.

“These are things that his father will have to deal with in the future because Kairo and Kinara will 100% want to ask him some questions.

“And unfortunately I don’t think the answers he’ll give will be good enough because they can see through him and that’s my personal opinion.”

A source told MailOnline at the time: ‘Annie gets thousands of comments and likes of overwhelming support and she often goes through and likes a few to show fans she appreciates their messages.

“But neither Annie nor Kyle would ever want to involve children in what Lauren has turned into a public circus with her weekly podcast. Annie and Kyle are trying to move on with their lives and wish Lauryn would do the same.”

It comes as Kilner last month instructed lawyers to launch legal proceedings as she prepared to fight for half of the Manchester City defender’s £27million fortune.

The couple split last December after it was revealed Walker had fathered his second child with Goodman, who texted Kilner to reveal the news.

After Kilner began legal proceedings for divorce, a source told MailOnline: ‘Things are as bad between them as they have ever been. It wasn’t like a normal marriage.

‘They hardly spoke to each other. She divorces Kyle because she just can’t forgive him for what he did to her. She can’t get over it. She tried.

“Kyle seems to have accepted that it’s over. He has been happier in the last week. As if the weight of the world has fallen from his shoulders.’

In July, Walker and Goodman fought each other in court over child support for their two children, Kairo and Kinara.

The judge awarded Goodman to receive £12,500 a month and £51,000 for a new car every three years. But her requests for an air conditioning unit worth £33,000 and astro turf worth £31,200 were rejected.

Many of her claims were rejected by the judge, who concluded that she was ‘not trustworthy’. Walker, who was described as ‘sensible, honest and trustworthy’, told the court he was not an ‘open chequebook’.
