Renukaswamy murder case – Renukaswamy murder: 1,300-page complaint with photos shows Darshan at the scene

The Bengaluru police on Saturday filed an extensive 1,300-page supplementary charge sheet with the police high-profile Renukaswamy murder caseinvolving actor Darshan and his associates. The supplementary charge sheet, prepared under the supervision of ACP Chandan Kumar, was filed before the 57th CCH Court.

During the investigation, police discovered significant evidence linking the suspect to the crime scene, including photographs retrieved from a witness’ cell phone.

The recovered images include four photos with accused Janadish, two photos with accused Anukumar and two photos with accused Ravi.

These images are said to show actor Darshan and his associates posing at the location where the murder took place. Police believe this evidence strengthens their involvement in the crime and is expected to strengthen the case as the legal proceedings continue.

Authorities are now seeking to revoke the bail granted to the suspect, arguing that the evidence underlines the seriousness of the charges.

RENUKASWAMY MURDER CASE

A 33-year-old Renukaswamy, a fan of the actor, had sent obscene messages to Darshan’s friend Pavithra Gowda, which enraged Darshan and reportedly led to his murder. His body was found on June 9 near a stormwater drain next to an apartment in Sumanahalli.

Raghavendra, one of the accused who is part of Darshan’s fan club in Chitradurga, had taken Renukaswamy to a shed in RR Nagar here on the pretext that the actor wanted to meet him. It was in this shed that he was allegedly tortured and murdered.

According to the post-mortem report, Renukaswamy, a resident of Chitradurga, died due to shock and haemorrhage due to multiple blunt injuries.
