The EastEnders legend’s terrifying ordeal with a funeral is confirmed | Soaps

The Beales are on a downward spiral in EastEnders next week, with a health crisis that leaves Ian (Adam Woodyatt) terrified.

As he is taken to the hospital, he doesn’t even realize half of what is going on.

Cindy (Michelle Collins) keeps cheating, with the secret set to explode within weeks.

Not only that, but she is also doing everything she can to cover up her other recent shocking act.

Meanwhile, it is also an unpleasant time for Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter), as news of Clayton’s funeral brings him back to the forefront of her thoughts.

There are elsewhere important developments in the relationship between Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) and Eve Unwin (Heather Peace)which leads them to a joyful place.

But for how long?

Finally, Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) is keen to get the police involved as the extent of Jean’s (Gillian Wright) situation becomes clear.

Monday December 2

Ian takes charge of the Walford’s Christmas the lights come on and asks Cindy to help him prepare for the evening festivities.

After an appointment with Junior, Cindy discovers that Kojo is being woken from his coma.

It soon becomes clear that Ian has bitten off more than he can chew, and he develops chest pains at number 45, forcing Kathy to call him an ambulance. Cindy arrives at the hospital to see Kojo.

The doctors tell Ian to take it easy, while Kathy tells Ian that Cindy is responsible for his stress.

At the christening float, Stacey and Eve, who is back from Brighton, make up, and Stacey encourages Eve to talk to Suki.

At number 41, Suki and Eve share a tense conversation before Eve storms out, leaving Suki heartbroken. After a heart-to-heart with Stacey, Eve makes a bold gesture as she turns on the Christmas lights…

Elsewhere, Stacey convinces Jean to report her scam to the police, but she feels helpless when the reality of the situation sets in.

Yolande struggles to get into the Christmas spirit and is surprised when she hears about Pastor Clayton’s funeral.

Lauren and Peter have put the events of last week behind them. Mo causes trouble in the market by trying to sell Christmas items without a permit.

Tuesday December 3

Suki and Eve have a vision of happiness as they agree to get their wedding plans back on track, hoping that the road to happiness will be smooth from now on.

Cindy comes clean to Junior about Kojo’s discovery of their affair and begs him to keep Kojo quiet. A nervous Junior talks to Kojo at the hospital.

At number 45, Ian hides the truth about last night’s events from Cindy, despite Kathy’s wishes.

At number 31, Jean is relieved when a lawyer tells her they can get her money back.

Elsewhere, Harvey inspires Mo with an idea to make money for the market traders, and Chelsea and Patrick try to convince a despondent Yolande to attend Jordan’s Christingle service.

Wednesday December 4

Stacey is concerned about Jean’s situation and asks Jack to look into it.

Things get tense between Cindy and Junior at his apartment, but Cindy quickly leaves after Junior gives her a gift.

Back at Number 41, Ian is alarmed when he discovers a jewelry box in Cindy’s pocket.

Thursday December 5

Teddy goes to No. 43 for a date night with Sharon, but things don’t go smoothly and Sharon asks Teddy to leave.

Later, and to Teddy’s delight, Sharon invites him back to her place, leaving Nicola seething…

The pair are interrupted by Mo’s latest scheme to make money for the market traders.

At the cafe, Mo hires Kim to handle PR for the scheme, and he tricks Nicola into sponsoring it.

Elsewhere, Alfie is concerned about Linda’s drinking.
