Netflix star caught smuggling drugs worth £150,000 into Britain

Netflix‘S Too hot to handle star Olga Bednarska has pleaded guilty to involvement in fraudulently evading a ban on the import of a class B drug.

The reality TV personality, who appeared in season 3 from the dating show, admitted in court that he had tried to bring 40kg of cannabis into Britain.

After spending weeks in custody following her arrest, it was decided that she would complete fifteen days of rehabilitation activities. She was also given a 20-month suspended sentence, which will last for the next two years (meaning she will face 20 months in prison if she offends again by November 2026).

In court, Bednarska claimed someone asked her to travel with what she thought were designer watches and clothes in return for £18,000 and the cost of her flights.

“You decided to put your trust in someone you barely knew,” the judge told her, amid reports that the reality star did not know the codes to open the suitcases when he was stopped at the airport. ‘You acted under the direction of others, possibly with a view to further profit.’

The judge also said she had “directly contributed” to “the harm that drugs do to our communities when they are sold for profit”.

Daily mail reported that the court also heard that the star had racked up £16,000 in debt because she was living beyond her means.

All six seasons of Too hot to handle are now available to stream on Netflix.
