Srishti Tuli was found dead Monday in her flat in Marol. The Mumbai Police did that arrested 27-year-old Aditya Pandit for alleged complicity in the suicide of his girlfriend.

‘The police say she committed suicide. So what did he do that pushed her to her limits? She spoke cheerfully to her mother and aunt. And fifteen minutes later she was dead. How did this happen? What did he tell her? What has he done? The police are investigating this,” Srishti’s uncle Vivek Tuli told NDTV.

The uncle also refutes claims that Srishti committed suicide, claiming that she was murdered.

‘They say she committed suicide, but I don’t believe it. This is a planned murder. She was strong, otherwise she wouldn’t be a pilot. We came to know about her friend (Aditya), who started training with but couldn’t complete the course. He was jealous of her and harassed her,” the uncle told the television station.

‘Couple often argued’

According to police, Srishti met two years ago when she had gone to Delhi for her education. They soon started living together in Mumbai.

Tuli’s family members have also accused Pandti of harassing, abusing and coercing her stop eating non-vegetarian food.

Police have revealed that the couple often argued, during which the suspect would taunt and harass her, which ultimately led to her tragic death.

“Once the group had decided to eat non-vegetarian food. When her boyfriend found out, he insulted her in front of everyone. She was disturbed by her relationship with her boyfriend who continuously harassed her, leading to her suicide,” a police officer said earlier.
