Milan man arrested in death of father, sheriff’s office says

MILAN, Texas (KBTX) -A man in Milan was arrested late Tuesday night and charged with the murder of his father.

Milam County deputies were called to a home on County Road 374 in Milan around 10 p.m., where they found 68-year-old Michael Donaldson Sr. found dead in his living room. After investigation, they determined he had been murdered, but did not release any information about how the death occurred or the motive.

According to a news release from the Milam County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrested his son, Michael Donaldson Jr., who is now charged with murder. He is in the Milam County Jail on a $950,000 bond.

Officials said no one else was injured and the family has been notified.
