One dead and one injured in a crash Friday morning in Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAF) – One person is dead and another injured after a crash occurred at Kelly Springs Road and Highway 53 Friday morning.

Don Webster of Huntsville Emergency Medical Services, Inc. (HEMSI) confirmed one death and one woman was injured in the crash. The injured woman was taken to Huntsville Hospital Trauma Services where she remains in stable condition.

The crash happened around 8:26 a.m. Friday along Kelly Springs Road and Highway 53.

Officials have not yet confirmed the identity of the person killed.
