British man Rs 215 compensation Mars chocolate bar – British man finds smooth Mars chocolate bar gets Rs 215 compensation from company

A British man was awarded £2 (approximately Rs 215) in compensation after finding a peculiar Mars chocolate bar that lacked the signature ripples.

It all happened when 32-year-old Harry Seager from Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, shared a photo of the ‘smooth’ chocolate bar in a post to a Facebook group.

Segar had picked up the strangely smooth Mars bar from a petrol station in Oxfordshire while on his way to a classic car show in Birmingham. The bar, devoid of its iconic swirls, left him intrigued – and somewhat amused.

Looking for answers, he contacted Mars Wrigley UK to find out if this was an experimental twist on the classic treat or just a factory coincidence.

Mars Wrigley apologized for the anomaly and sent Seager a £2 (approximately Rs 215) voucher as compensation. According to the BBC, their response was: “We’re sorry to hear about your experience. We ensure that your feedback is shared with our quality team. Please accept the enclosed £2 voucher for a future purchase.”

While the gesture was appreciated, Seager was more interested in the story behind his “slick” bar. Speaking to the BBC, he said: ‘The only reason I emailed them was to understand what could be causing it. But they kept avoiding that question.”

Still, he took the situation in stride, adding: “£2 is great – it’s two free Mars bars! Maybe they could have sent more, but I’m not ungrateful. It was quite an adventure with a chocolate bar.”
