A Pokémon fan shared a photo of the Pokémon-inspired engagement ring she received after her longtime partner proposed to her while riding the Hep Five Ferris wheel in Osaka, Japan on July 10. last April.

Uploader Richelle dela Cruz, 34, from Mandaluyong City, showcased the intricate and symbolic details of the stunning ring in a Poké Ball case on Facebook.

The overall design was inspired by a scene from “The Teachers’ New Adventure!” » from the series Pokémon: Sun and Moon, where Professor Kukui proposed to Professor Burnet with a Poké Ball.

Meanwhile, Dela Cruz told INQUIRER.net that she couldn’t contain her excitement when Fernandez popped the question after 14 years together.

“I was overwhelmed with joy and I cried because actually, I didn’t expect it either. It was a little hard to hide his excitement, especially since we were 350 feet off the ground when he proposed. It was truly a memorable moment for both of us,” Dela Cruz said.

She also shared that they were both long-time fans of Pokémon, playing the video games, watching the animated series, and supporting all of the Pokémon franchises.

“Pokémon for Us reminds us that we will always be children at heart. Even now that we are this age, and even if we have children, we will always be Pokémon fans,” Dela Cruz said.

The couple plans to get married in about two years.
