Men’s Golf Roundup: Zoske, Solon Win Titles at WAMAC Super Meet

Isaiah Zoske shot a under-par 69 to earn medalist honors as Solon won the team title at the WAMAC Super Meet Monday at Wildcat Golf Course in Shellsburg.

Zoske shot a bogey-free 34 on the back nine on his way to winning the individual title while Solon shot a team 304 to finish six shots ahead of runner-up West Delaware.

Marion finished third with a 312, followed by Williamsburg with a 313 and host Vinton-Shellsburg with a 317.

Clear Creek Amana finished ninth with a 326.

Jack McCarty shot an over-par 73 to finish in sixth place and Brennan Heesch shot a 78 to finish 15th.th for the Spartans.

Nick Stahle shot an 84 and Jack Irwin a 92 for Solon.

Carson Fox and Andrew Rotzoll each shot 79 to lead Clear Creek Amana while Logan DeKoter and Carson Nash each shot an 84 for the Clippers.
