UMD Volleyball announces the 2024 calendar

Back-to-back tournaments to open the season and a rematch of the NCAA Central Region quarterfinals in early October highlight a long 2024 schedule for the University of Minnesota Duluth volleyball team.

The Bulldogs will begin their season in early September with appearances at the Texas A&M Kingsville Invitational and the Up North Preseason Tournament, a tournament UMD hosted last year.

UMD will begin its Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) schedule with a game against Winona State (Sept. 19) before returning to Romano Gym for its home opener (Sept. 21) against the 2023 NSIC champions Concordia St. Paul. The Bulldogs will attend a regular season game against Wayne State College (Oct. 11), a rematch of last season’s NCAA Central Region quarterfinals. UMD looks to host nine of its 27 regular season games before the start of the NSIC tournament in November.

Bulldog volleyball posted an 18-11 overall record and a 10-8 conference record through the 2023 season, finishing in 6th place in the NSIC rankings and making its 24th NCAA Tournament appearance in the history of the program.
