School’s Avengers-Inspired Dance Routine Goes Viral

An Arizona school dance team is currently going viral thanks to a stunning throwback show based on the Marvel movies.

The Performing Arts Crew dance team from Walden Grove High School in Sahuarita performed an epic seven-minute routine, recreating scenes from movies like Avengers: Endgame And Guardians of the Galaxy.

It features music from the Beastie Boys, Queen, Cher and Snap, as well as Blue Swede’s. “Addicted to a feeling”known to guardians of the galaxy.

After posting the September 6 show last Friday on YouTube, it has received over 1.3 million views so far, and counting.

Coach Kristi Lopez told Yahoo in the US: “We’re in shock right now.

“I mean, we love Avengers and Marvel and all that stuff, but we didn’t know it would be this big.”

The dance troupe has already gained popularity through previous performances based on the Harry Potter films, Pixar films and The Wizard of Oz.

They also appeared on America’s Got Talent last year, but were eliminated in the quarter-finals.

None of the students involved in the team are qualified dancers, but they practiced several hours a day for two months in preparation for the show.
