Meghan Markle ‘offered $1 million per second’ to return to Suits as Rachel Zane

Meghan Markle ‘offered million per second’ to return to Suits as Rachel Zane

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, is one of the most famous women in the world, largely because she became a member of the royal family when she married Prince Harry in 2018.

But before meeting Harry, 39, Meghan, 42, was already well known, having played Rachel Zane in the American series Suits for seven seasons.

Rumors have often swirled about Meghan’s potential return to the screen, but it appears respect for her new life as a Royal has put an end to any official offers. However, that hasn’t stopped companies from dreaming big.

In a stunning move, Biotulin, a German cosmetics brand known for its organic alternative to Botox, offered a mind-blowing $1 million per second offer to Meghan to make an appearance as her character Rachel Zane . But even with this staggering sum on the table, Meghan remained silent on the proposal.

Biotulin, which offers products that promise to smooth out wrinkles in an hour and is reportedly one of Meghan’s favorites, made its intentions clear in a bold tweet to NBCUniversal, the broadcaster behind Suits.

Their tweet read: “Att. Steve Burke: We are once again offering you $5 million for a 5-second appearance of Meghan Markle with our BIOTULIN organic Botox gel in your TV series ‘Suits,’ reports the Mirror.

“Please verify our offer with his agent. #biotulin @NBCUnivrsal #Stephenbburker @nbc @nbcnews.”

This public proposal marks the first time Meghan has been openly asked to step into Rachel’s shoes since her departure from the show.

Aaron Korsh, the creator of Suits, made the conscious decision not to ask Meghan to return for the series finale in order to “respect her new life.”

The lucrative opportunity presented by a beauty brand follows rumors that Meghan was rejected by Disney due to her status as a “controversial character”, after reports circulated that her agent was trying to find her a role within the famous film company.

The Duchess of Sussex is reportedly trying to revive her acting career as she and husband Prince Harry settle into their new life away from royal duties.

Responding to speculation about Meghan’s Hollywood ambitions, an anonymous film executive has shed light on whether there are “limited plans” for Meghan to land a major role – it comes after she reportedly asked her agent to look for a superhero role with Marvel.

Speaking to the Mail on Sunday, the movie mogul shared: “Meghan needs Disney more than Disney needs Meghan. She’s a controversial figure.”

“There are rumors of a deal, but they don’t go beyond voiceover work.”
