Reward offered in Union Springs murder of Auburn High senior – CNAW 2 with Colin Scroggins

The Union Springs Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting of an Auburn high school student and is seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect. Crimestoppers has now issued a reward for information.

Police responded to Baskin Street at approximately 12:44 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2024 and found an 18-year-old man in life-threatening condition. The victim, later identified as Delvin Tarver, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.

“Investigators are asking for the public’s help in providing information in this ongoing investigation,” Crimestoppers said. “If you have any information, investigators urge you to notify law enforcement or call CrimeStoppers immediately.”

Central Alabama CrimeStoppers is offering a $1,000.00 cash reward for information leading to the identification and apprehension of the offender.
