Puppy’s First-Ever Bark on Film Melts Hearts: ‘Special Moments’

Puppy’s First-Ever Bark on Film Melts Hearts: ‘Special Moments’

A dog owner was able to film one of the most important moments in her pet’s life, and the clip melted hearts on social media.

In the now-viral post shared on TikTok in March, under the username @beauthebabygolden, golden retriever puppy, Beau, is caught barking for the first time, to the surprise of his owner, who was just trying to film a nice clip. from him. “A puppy’s first bark. Capturing the special moments,” she wrote in the caption.

Although they can become very noisy as they grow up and cause you trouble with your neighbors, puppies are not born barking. When they are born, dogs are actually deaf and blind and can only make tiny coos or whines.

Animal welfare experts at Rover say that after three to four weeks their senses develop rapidly, their eyes open and by 8 weeks old most puppies will have already learned to bark .

However, if your pet never starts barking, this is generally not a cause for concern; in fact, although some dogs may start a little later, others may never learn.

“As barking is rarely used for communication between dogs, barking is thought to result from the domestication of dogs. In fact, barking may not have served any purpose at all in ancient wild dog communities “, adds the Rover website.

The video quickly went viral on social media, attracting viewers from all over TikTok. It has so far received over 11.8 million views and over 2.6 million likes on the platform.

One user, Cynthia, commented: “I will always remember my puppy’s first bark. My brother and I were so much younger and had no idea what was going on, we thought he was angry but he was just excited. »

Ren_h3rrera shared: “When my little one barked for the first time, it was a really emotional moment for me, I cried a lot.” And user6519884235620 added: “OMG (oh my god) look at the stomps on this beautiful puppy. He’s going to (be) a big boy.”

Another user, Anastasia, wrote: “My heart belongs to baby golden retrievers (cry).” And Yara posted: “The number of accounts I follow just because they have gold medals is crazy to me.”

News week I contacted @beauthebabygolden for comment via email. We have not been able to verify the details of the case.
