Miranda Cosgrove wants to ‘wrap up’ iCarly after revival is canceled

Miranda Cosgrove is still waiting for a proper farewell for Paramount+ iCarly the comeback.

After the season 3 finale aired in July 2023, which featured a shocking cliffhanger, the streaming service announced the show’s cancellation in October.

The final moments almost saw the titular Cosgrove, Carly Shay, marry longtime best friend-turned-boyfriend Freddie Benson (Nathan Kress). Even more shocking, Carly and big brother Spencer’s mother Shay (Jerry Trainor) – who was never shown and is rarely mentioned in the OG series and its successor – appeared.

“I had a great experience coming back and doing this for a few seasons, that’s for sure. But I would still like to be able to wrap the story up somehow,” said Cosgrove, 30 years. Entertainment tonight.
