“You’re jumping the gun a little bit, aren’t you? We don’t know he’s going to wake up yet,” Caleb said when the officer arrived. Ruby immediately apologized and shared, “We know he had alcohol in his system. It’s not like him, he would never drink and drive. We taught him better than that.” However, the policeman seemed confused by everything that was happening.

“Sorry, your son was not driving the vehicle. The bruising on his chest and shoulder was consistent with a passenger side airbag impact,” he said, leaving both completely shocked.

Stunned, Ruby said, “Well, if he wasn’t driving, who was? Whoever it was, left him for dead, who would do that?” while Caleb added: “Whoever it is, when I find them, they will wish they died in this accident.”
