Illegal Immigrant From Turkey Shocked By How Easily He Can Enter The United States

The crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border is so obvious that even illegal immigrants are shocked at how easy it is to enter the United States outside of legal ports of entry, to the point where They are worried that criminals can enter the country without any authorization. problems.

Fox News national correspondent Bill Melugin interviewed a Turkish man who illegally entered the San Diego area near Jacumba Hot Springs.

The man said he paid a Mexican cartel $10,000 to be able to cross their territory to the Mexican side of the border.

“I had my visa refused several times, so I just decided to cross illegally. »

“Actually, the Americans are right, it’s absolutely true. Who comes to this country? They don’t know. Okay, I’m fine, but what happens if they’re not good? What if they are killers, psychopaths, otherwise no guarantee of that,” the man warned. “No security screening, no background check.”

“Are you worried about who’s crossing the border?” » asked Mélugine.

“Yes, yes, yes. Of course, because people are not normal,” the man replied.

When it was found that the men had enough money to go through the visa process and enter legally, Melugin said they applied but were repeatedly denied, they therefore decided to take advantage of the opening of the border.

“That’s exactly what they did. They also told me on camera. Their visa was refused several times, so I just decided to cross illegally (and) I was stunned to see how easy it was,” Melugin said.

The San Diego sector is now the epicenter of the border crisis. Due to a combination of security efforts in Texas and northern Mexico, illegal immigrants are being funneled to the West Coast portion of the southern border. Prior to the San Diego sector, the Tucson, Arizona sector was the primary point of entry to the border.

So far this fiscal year, San Diego Sector Border Patrol agents have encountered nearly 223,000 illegal immigrants, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
