Lincoln County Council to consider food services at detention center

The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. in the commissioners room at the Lincoln County Courthouse, 301 N. Jeffers St., and will be livestreamed on the county’s YouTube channel.

The board will also review a letter of understanding with Regier Carr & Monroe LLP CPA for audit services for the fiscal year ending June 30, in addition to reviewing the July 1 restated documents with First Benefits Group to include the persistent group insurance clause.

Commissioners will also consider an estimate from Hinton’s Lock & Alarm.

A vote will be taken to authorize the signing of an agreement with Marcia Wever for arbitrator services for the Lincoln County Board of Equalization.

Acting as the Equalization Board, the board will examine:

Approval of a late real and personal property exemption request submitted by Bethel Evangelical Free Church.

Approval of a late real and personal property exemption request submitted by Hope Baptist Church.

Approval of a motor vehicle tax exemption application submitted by the County Treasurer.
