Love Island viewers make same demand after 'shocking' latest announcement

ITV viewers reacted to the news

The weather might be a little bad, but there’s one thing that’s sure to get us into the summer mood – love island.

Yes, fans of the ITV show were buzzing after the exciting announcement of this week’s line-up, with the countdown now in full swing.

However, love islandwhich is set to begin next Monday (June 3), has since upset some viewers, with many now making the exact same demand following its “shocking” announcement.

The popular dating show will take place in a villa in Mallorca for another year, and of course the beautiful Maya Jama has once again taken the reins.

This year’s contestants include: Munveer Jabbal, Patsy Field, Ronnie Vint, Nicole Samuel, Samantha Kenny, Ciaran Davies, Mimii Ngulube, Sam Taylor, Ayo Odukoya, Jess White, Harriet Blackmore and Sean Stone.

Last night (May 28), the official Love Island account took to X to reveal that viewers will now be treated to a second season of All the stars.

The announcement received a lot of backlash, causing quite a heated reaction from many people who are not in favor of the idea.

One X user replied: “Seriously? The last one wasn’t great. »

“No one asked for this,” snapped a second while a third chimed in: “You’re really going to make me watch this again. Are you even going to have enough islanders who want to come back?”

A fourth wrote: “Please keep it. You could barely find Islanders entertaining for the first season and you had low views, so what makes you think having a season 2 would be a great idea?

Someone who nicknamed himself ‘The island of love number 1 fan’ added: “Even I’m shocked. I don’t think All the stars It was bad because Georgia S delivered but we don’t want another one.”

“Might as well just confirm The island of love death…”, lashed out at another. “It’s sad now, just to first extract the last commercial income he can get from it.”

One final review echoed: “WE DON’T WANT THIS TO STOP SATURATING US AND JUST GIVE A GOOD NORMAL SERIES!”

Others, however, were clearly much more hyped for the upcoming series with one fan writing: “I’m sitting down.”

“Oh! Series 1 was exceptional, by the way,” praised a second.

A third chimed in: “We can’t wait!”

“Go ahead,” exclaimed a final X user.

Love Island starts on June 3 at 9pm on ITV2.
