Although the PlayStation showcase hasn’t been announced yet, we at least have a date for the next Silent Hill transmission

Konami has confirmed a new silent Hill transmission where a ton of updates on upcoming games in the franchise will be revealed. Fans are waiting for the official release of the Silent Hill 2 Remake, Silent Hill updates, as well as new gameplay and trailers for Fall of the town of Silent Hill.

The entire community, which has been following this saga since the beginning, is speculating about the new gameplay and trailers that the studio could reveal. This transmission will be live on May 30. The company even talked about the film and new spin-off products.

Konami announced a new date for the Silent Hill transmission

After several months without news of this particular franchise, Konami has finally set the date for another silent Hill transmission. This event will reveal new details about the franchise’s upcoming projects, which will see a revival after many years without a proper game release. Fans are eagerly awaiting this live event, which will finally bring new titles to this saga.

Between the games that will be revealed, there is the possibility of seeing the release date of the next one Silent Hill 2 remake, which was supposed to be available this year.

Depending on the details, there is also room for new trailers and gameplay for Silent Hill And Fall of the town of Silent Hill, the other two new games in this IP. The community wants to have a first glimpse of the Return to Silent Hill film, directed by the same director of the 2006 film, Christophe Gans.

Silent Hill F, Silent Hill Townfall and Silent Hill 2 Remake revealed

The majority of the franchise’s upcoming projects will launch on PS4, PS5, and PC, with no indication of potential Xbox console availability. Konami was very cryptic about information regarding these new titles; players are hoping to see more gameplay and, most importantly, a possible release date for this year or in 2025. The company will likely save some of these games for next year.

This transmission will take place on May 30 at 4 p.m. PT/7 p.m. On May 16, fans got their first look at the new shape of pyramid head, an iconic and very recognizable character from the franchise. After many years of no news or games to speak of in the franchise, Konami finally decided to create various games and refocus on creating AAA titles rather than focusing solely on the gambling business.

The company also has other IPs that will release new games, like Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, a remake of the game of the same name originally released for PS2 in 2005. This particular saga hasn’t had a game to speak of since 2015, when Hideo Kojima left Konami to start his own studio. This will be the first game in the franchise not to involve this famous director in the project.
