Tiree: Scottish Islands Music Festival will make a ‘determined’ return

The Tiree Music Festival was canceled just a day before the first act was scheduled to take the stage in July 2023.

Festival-goers who took the ferry to the island were told to go to the An Talla community center in Tiree and more than 100 people had to shelter for the night.

A total of 25 artists confirmed for the 2023 edition of the festival will return this year, including indie-folk band Tide Lines, local talent Skerryvore as well as leading Irish country singer Nathan Carter, who is a new addition.

Organizers have announced a “determined” return, with the festival taking place from July 12 to 14.

A small number of tickets are still available and can be found HERE.

Festival artistic director Daniel Gillespie said: “It gives us a real sense of pride to have been able to confirm so many artists who will play at last year’s festival for our 2024 edition.

“It’s great that we were able to make the logistics work, honor these deals and be able to show them and our incredibly loyal audience what TMF is all about.”

“We are particularly excited to welcome Nathan Carter as one of our headliners and we know he will thrill the Tiree crowds.

“We are determined that this year’s TMF will be a great weekend and we are so grateful to everyone who has chosen to support the festival and join us in Tiree this summer.”
