76ers and 2 other teams ready to give Heat Star Max contract

If the Miami Heat decide to trade Jimmy Butler this offseason, several teams are reportedly interested in giving him a max contract extension.

According to Keith Pompey of Philadelphia Investigator reported Tuesday that the Philadelphia 76ers would be willing to offer such a deal, the team’s Anthony Chiang Miami Herald reported Wednesday that “two other teams have made it known in league circles that they would be willing to trade for Butler and sign him to a max-level contract.”
