DANBURY, CT. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced its 2023 Division I men’s lacrosse all-star team and key honorees.

Yale forward Matt Brandau won offensive player of the year, while Albany’s Jake Piseno won defensive player of the year. Navy freshman Zach Hayashi won Rookie of the Year. Towson University head coach Shawn Nadelen won the Coach of the Year award.

ABOUT ECAC
The ECAC (Eastern College Athletic Conference) is an eighty-two year old organization with over 200 member schools in all three NCAA Divisions – I, II and III. The ECAC exists to enhance the experience of student-athletes participating in intercollegiate athletics and provides great value to universities and colleges by sponsoring championships, leagues, bowl games, tournaments and other competitions throughout the North-east. The ECAC esports platform is growing to over sixty colleges and universities and expanding the conference’s geographic footprint nationally. The ECAC also sponsors competitions and leagues involving other college and club sports that are not under the purview of the NCAA.
