The facility will benefit children at Ayers Children’s Medical Center.

The hotel will be a five-story property with 107 guest rooms, approximately 79,000 square feet in size, and will include meeting spaces of up to 2,500 square feet, a full-service fitness center, a indoor/outdoor swimming pool with bar. , a coffee bar with lounge area, a full-service commercial restaurant with indoor/outdoor seating, and an upscale business center.

The Ronald McDonald House will occupy the second floor and include 20 rooms, a community kitchen and lounge, and laundry facilities for families who need a home away from home while their children receive medical care.

Currently, the Foundation places families in homes around Midtown Jackson when they are in the community to be with their loved ones who live more than 50 miles away.

This facility will be located adjacent to a large rehabilitation center where patients can stay for longer periods of time and across the street from a skilled nursing facility.

The Kirkland Cancer Center and Jackson-Madison County General Hospital are one block away.
