ITV Britain’s Got Talent viewers spot ‘evil’ mistake as finalist’s magic trick is ‘exposed’

Britain’s Got Talent viewers spotted a big mistake which ‘revealed’ one of the finalists’ magic tricks. Magician Jack Rhodes returned for the second round of the live semi-finals on Tuesday night (May 28) to perform for the judges.

Hoping to qualify for Sunday’s grand final, the nuclear engineer-turned-magician performed a routine involving card tricks, dynamite and an escape from a television. Following her performance, Simon told her: “I think you are, at the moment, the favorite to win the whole competition – it was so good. You really are one in a million. It was breathtaking .”




And Jack also appeared to impress viewers, after receiving the highest number of public votes and winning a place in the final alongside Dutch double act Haribow, South African opera singer Innocent Masuku and taekwondo group South -Korean Ssaulabi Performance Troupe.

But despite his winning magic act, eagle-eyed fans seem to have spotted a glaring mistake by pointing out that she could see him walking behind her set.

Speaking to

@arianna80899 then replied: “Yes, it was evil. And the hands on the outside of the crane were too different from hers. So obvious,” as @JengaBlocks_ admitted: “I said that…. My mom had to rewind to watch it and we agreed.”

@dean_barney_ said: “one of the worst magic acts I’ve seen on BGT”, as @sutty56 echoed: “There were much better magicians at the auditions, I bet most of them ‘among them did not succeed.’
