Geri Horner Mocks Epic Mistake in Mel B’s Birthday Post That Leaves Fans Angry

Geri Horner sparked amusement on social media when her birthday tribute to fellow Spice Girl Mel B included a huge mistake. The singer, 51, shared a series of photos on Instagram of her with her bandmate, real name Melanie Brown, to mark her 49th birthday on May 29.

However, it appears Geri asked her social media manager, Pippa, to share the post. Before sharing it online, the caption included instructions presumably given by Geri, prompting fans to mock the Spice Girls star.

The post originally read: “I sent Pippa images and this wording. Asked her to go where needed.” Followed by a message for Mel, which read: “Happy birthday Mel B. Hope you have an amazing day.”

The caption was quickly edited, but eagle-eyed fans had already spotted the huge mistake and began mocking Geri in the comments section. One person joked: “Baby you need to take care of your social media manager.”

Another said: “Sending lots of love to Pippa on this day, she could use a glass of wine or two. » A third person added: “Pippa, I would edit it to add a little more sincerity.”

“Has Pippa been fired? I hope so,” someone else joked. A fifth Instagram user sarcastically said: “What a lovely genuine and heartfelt post from you.”

Many “cringed” over the mistake, with one person admitting: “OMG I’ve never been so embarrassed for someone.” I would just move countries if I did that. Someone else agreed: “I will delete my Instagram and that’s the last time you will hear from me.”

Geri and Mel rose to fame in the 1990s as members of the Spice Girls, alongside Victoria Beckham, Mel C and Emma Bunton. The girlband enjoyed enormous success around the world before disbanding at the end of 2000.

The five women recently reunited at Victoria’s 50th birthday party. The fashion designer threw a star-studded party in London to celebrate her milestone birthday, with her bandmates and many famous faces joining her. The group sang some of their iconic tracks on the dance floor, while Victoria’s husband David filmed the special moment.
