“He didn’t just say that!” » gasp BGT fans as Bruno Tonioli makes terrible mistake live in semi-final

BRITAIN’S Got Talent judge Bruno Tonioli left audiences speechless last night when he made a shocking mistake on live TV.

The Italian judge, 68, had difficulty choosing between Haribow and Ravi. Dream Team when hosts Ant and Dec pushed him to make a decision on who to send home.

Magician Jack Rhodes received the most viewer votes in the second semi-final, automatically sending him to Sunday’s grand final, but it was left to the jury to choose between the Japanese-Dutch double group and the children’s choir.

Bruno was the first to make a decision and emphasized what an “impossible” decision it was.

He said: “I mean, it’s an impossible decision because they were incredible, both in their own right. Completely different. It’s an impossible choice, it’s Sophie Choice.”

But while he ultimately chose to save Haribow, viewers were stunned when he called the decision a “Sophie’s choice.”

Sophie’s Choice is a reference to a 1982 film movie with Meryl Streep in which her character chooses which of her children to send to gas room during the Holocaust.

Reacting to his poor choice of words, one wrote on X, formerly Twitter: “Oh f*** me!”

A second added: Did Bruno really just compare choosing between 2 acts on #BritainsGotTalent to being like Sophie’s Choice?

A third replied: You just helped me confirm that I actually heard him say that.

A fourth echoed the sentiment, chiming in: Did @BrunoTonioli really just describe his decision in #bgt as “Sophie’s choice?!”

Ultimately, the decision ended up going to a public vote, as the judges were stuck in an impasse.

Alesha Dixon voted to keep Ravi’s Dream Team, who won her Golden Buzzer during their audition.

Amanda Holden’s choice was Haribow, while Simon Cowell chose Ravi’s Dream Team as Alesha.

In the end, the act that received the most votes from the public was Haribow.

But once again, viewers slammed ITV as heartbreaking scenes were broadcast showing a little girl from Ravi’s choir crying on stage as Haribow celebrated at the end.

She had to be held and comforted by the man standing following to her.

Little children crying on prime time TV, good old ITV,” one said on social media.

A second chimed in: “Very awkward moment where #haribow celebrated with kids crying literally meters away. This is not going well.”

“Poor crying children. What a shame,” said a third, unimpressed.

Another wasn’t sure if she was crying from disappointment or just having trouble handling the noise, asking, “Was the little girl crying or was it too loud for her?”

Meanwhile, a fifth asked: “See, this is why you don’t put kids on the live show… you can’t handle evil.” news and now the little girl is crying.
