Bear chases dog Zeus down driveway in Maple Grove, Minn., surveillance video shows

MAPLE GROVE, Minn. — A Minnesota woman recently praised her dog, after she said he was “very smart” at “luring” a bear away from her.

The intense scene was captured on Bailey Jacobson’s security camera and shows her dog, Zeus, heading toward a bear seen rummaging through trash outside her Maple Grove home.

As Jacobson yells at his dog, the bear steps forward and chases Zeus down the alley.

Describing it as “a situation that could have ended badly,” Jacobson told Storyful that fortunately neither of them were injured.
