Draymond Green sends message to Indiana Fever after Caitlin Clark foul

Draymond Green sends message to Indiana Fever after Caitlin Clark foul

The basketball world has been discussing a highly controversial foul against Caitlin Clark during Saturday’s game between the Indiana Fever and the Chicago Sky. After some verbal exchanges between Clark and Sky guard Chennedy Carter, Carter delivered a hit that sent Clark to the ground.

As previously mentioned, the foul was widely discussed, and one of the last basketball figures to step in was Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors. An enforcer himself, Green urged the Fever to acquire one in an Instagram comment on Saturday.

Since this isn’t the first time Clark has taken a similar shot from an opponent this season, Green believes his team needs to acquire an enforcer to help protect the star guard. It seems like many WNBA players are trying to send a message to Clark and the Fever going into the season, and that’s something Green wants to see the organization counter.

While Indiana has just two wins this season, Clark is off to an incredible start to her WNBA career, already breaking league records. Clark will only get better as she gets more comfortable at the professional level, but she has made it clear so far this season that she has a place in the league.

Indiana’s win against Chicago on Saturday was important and they will look to build on that as the season goes on.
