Actress Thinks Jennifer Lopez Was Bullied For Months Until Tour Canceled: ‘How Can You Complain’: News: Music Times

After Jennifer Lopez announced the cancellation of her tour, the first in five years, the actress 3 Body Problem expressed support for the “Can’t Get Enough” singer.

“I have to say that the level of bullying this woman has experienced over the past few months is so disturbing and heartbreaking,” Gonzalez wrote in her Instagram Stories on May 31.

She posted her feelings with a screenshot of a story announcing the tour’s cancellation. “How can you complain about someone being mean and still enjoy the meanness towards them. People are humans, make mistakes and some have personal events while constantly having to be perfect in the public eye. ”

The 34-year-old continued: “The world is a pretty complicated place. The best thing we can do right now is be kind. We have no idea what people are going through.”

Lopez’s tour was canceled amid swirling breakup rumors involving her and husband Ben Affleck, as well as constant criticism, particularly on TikTok, regarding her lifestyle and recent career decisions, including her performance in the new Netflix film. Atlaswhich currently holds the top spot on the US version of the platform but has garnered mostly negative reviews from film critics.

For the record, Lopez’s official statement behind canceling her tour revealed that the main reason was that she was focusing on her family.

While the “On the Floor” singer was preparing to begin her This Is Me…Live tour, scheduled for June 26 in Orlando, she decided to cancel it.

“Jennifer is taking time off,” Live Nation announced on May 31, “to be with her children, family and close friends.”

Given all the divorce buzz, the reason seems entirely appropriate.

THE Selena The star, who shares 16-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony, has been communicating directly with fans via her OntheJLo newsletter.

“My heart is completely aching and I’m devastated that I let you down,” the 54-year-old began. “Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t think it was absolutely necessary.” I promise I’ll make it up to you and we’ll all be together again.

“I love you all so much,” she concluded. “Till next time…”

The newsletter also mentions that fans who purchased concert tickets through Ticketmaster will receive an automatic refund.
