Nest-Inspired Urban Houses: urban house

Vietnamese studio Ho Khue Architects managed to do a phenomenal job with the challenging mission of creating a spacious, stylish and comfortable urban home on a modest square footage, with the “Nest House” taking inspiration from the comforting environment of nests of birds.

The aptly named “Nest House” features a three-story structure that utilizes diagonal pillars that allow for multi-level dwelling and create a unique elevated aesthetic, with negative space used for plantings and greenery. This makes it an ideal place to rest, recuperate and escape the stresses and strains of city life.

What’s great about this urban house is that it uses clever design and vertical space to provide a substantial and stylish living environment in an area of ​​just 16 x 4.5 meters.
