Carl Froch sends a message to Tyson Fury ‘from the bottom of his heart’: ‘Is he struggling with defeat?’

Tyson Fury suffered the first defeat of his professional career against Oleksandr Usyk last month, losing the undisputed heavyweight championship in the process.

The Brit immediately activated his rematch clause and it was announced that the two men would return on December 21 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Fans were worried this week when a video made the rounds on social media showing the Morecambe fan favorite wearing worse for wear in a bar.

Carl Froch – who has never shied away from criticizing Fury in the past – said on his YouTube channel that he believed ‘The Gypsy King’ would now focus on training.

“He spent an evening out, let his hair down as the metaphor goes because I know he has a bald head. He drank too much…it’s not a big problem. Whoever hung up the phone should be ashamed of themselves…Is he struggling with defeat? I know it’s his first defeat.

He went out, had a few drinks, had a good time and some assholes filmed it and it ended up there. But I think Tyson will now resume his training, focus on his fight in December… It’s the rematch against someone he lost to and he’s going to want to avenge that.

The former multiple super middleweight champion then directly urged Fury to put his head down and work to beat Usyk this winter.

“I hope, and when I say it sincerely from the heart, I hope he comes out of this. Because we want to see him again. Tyson Fury can bring these belts back to Britain and then have a few more fights before deciding to hang up his gloves.

Get back at it… Come on Tyson, get back at it. Go back to that gym. Believe in yourself and win this fight. This rematch in December, we are all looking forward to it.

Fury himself took to social media to tell his fans he was on the road to redemption.
