White DoorDash driver fired after filmed calling black customer The N-Word

A racist DoorDash delivery driver was fired after calling a black customer a racial slur.

Surveillance footage from a doorbell camera in Nashville showed the white DoorDash delivery driver using the N-word while delivering food to the customer.

The now viral video was posted on TikTok last week by Christina Derrica, who goes by @ChristinaTheeDemo on the social platform. She demanded that DoorDash fire the guy. “Here’s your food, ni**er!” said an unidentified person after placing the food on their porch. “Chow down, ni**er!” “” the man could be heard saying as he walked away.

“Did he not see my Ring camera?” the woman captioned the 15-second clip, which has been viewed more than 3.3 million times. “Come it IMMEDIATELY, HELLO.”

Fast forward to last weekend, Derrica shared an email that she received from DoorDash’s Community Response team. A spokesperson revealed they investigated the incident before hiring the delivery man. “Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Please be aware that the type of behavior you have described has no place on the DoorDash platform, or anywhere else, and is a violation of our security policies,” the document states.
