During the traffic stop, investigators reported finding a suitcase full of pills.

NAVAJO COUNTY, Ariz. — A Phoenix resident was arrested Wednesday after law enforcement reported finding more than 370,000 suspected fentanyl pills during a traffic stop on Interstate 40.

The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office said a traffic stop near Holbrook resulted in a K-9 dog arriving to inspect the vehicle. After detecting the presence of drugs, officers searched the vehicle and found a large suitcase containing approximately 82 pounds of pills with an estimated value of $1.8 million, NCSO said.

Two individuals, Yolanda Ortiz-Montelongo of Phoenix and Hugo Moreno-Camargo of Mexico, were arrested and face drug charges.
