Malden, MA truck catches fire after hitting bridge – NBC Boston

A tractor-trailer caught fire after hitting an overpass in Malden, Massachusetts, Friday morning.

The incident happened around 5:30 a.m. on an overpass at Medford and Pearl streets.

Police said the truck’s cab almost completely went under the bridge and the exhaust pipes caught fire when the driver began reversing.

No injuries were reported.
