Always be prepared: Portuguese goalkeeper Jose Sa showcased a goon who tried to run onto the pitch during training

Who said football wasn’t physical? This is a near-perfect tackle, like a safety flying to the other side of the field. You can’t even see José Sa coming until the green goalkeeper jersey appears. Yet this is what should happen. Too often, goons rush onto the field and everyone freezes. It’s time for athletes to take matters into their own hands. I’m pretty sure any intelligent person would understand that you can’t have problems protecting yourself in the field. It doesn’t even matter if it’s practice. Failure to prepare is setting yourself up for failure.

This is what backup guards should do. You spend almost no time on the field, start being the guy who makes tackles against the invaders. You never know when they will arrive, you have to be prepared. It’s the perfect role. Eyes are always wandering, you have to make sure you see where everyone is on the field, so you shouldn’t miss any bullshit here. I hate that the video cuts off on removal, we should be allowed to see the aftermath.

Even Roger can’t be mad about that. No hip drop. No direction with the head. Wrap and throw away. The only criticism would be staying wrapped up longer, not risking a weaker throw and letting them keep their feet. Good start to a month of international football. Perfect for summer.

PS: I hate to give credit to Ronaldo, but it’s smart to keep this guy on your side. We know Ronaldo won’t do anything if someone enters the pitch.
