Washington stabbing suspects caught on camera

Washington DC – The DC Metro Police Department is asking for the community’s help in locating suspects involved in an assault and stabbing.

On Wednesday, May 29, at 10:57 a.m., the suspects assaulted and stabbed a victim in the 1500 block of Savannah Street, Southeast. The suspects then fled. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspects.

Anyone who can identify the suspects or has information about this incident is asked to call police at (202) 727-9099 or text 50411. A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.

  • Westmoreland County DA donates $10,000 to Irwin police for body cameras

    Irwin, Pennsylvania – Westmoreland County Prosecutor Nicole W. Ziccarelli attended the monthly Irwin Council meeting Wednesday evening to present a check for $10,000 to Irwin Police Chief Dan Wensel.

    The funds, from the office’s drug forfeiture account, will be used to purchase three AXON body cameras for the Irwin Police Department. The money comes from assets seized from drug dealers who commit drug offenses and is used to help enforce the Controlled Substances, Drugs, Devices and Cosmetics Act.

    In appreciation of DA Ziccarelli’s efforts and support, Irwin Police and the Borough Council presented him with a Certificate of Appreciation.

    This donation marks an important step in improving the transparency and accountability of the Irwin Police Department.

  • Man found dead with gunshot wound to the head in Baltimore garden

    Baltimore, Maryland – Baltimore police are investigating a homicide that occurred Wednesday morning in the Southwest District.

    Around 9:39 a.m., officers responded to a reported shooting in the 1700 block of Ramsay Street. When they arrived, they found a 24-year-old man in the backyard with a gunshot wound to the head. Doctors pronounced the victim dead on the spot.

    Fair Lawn, New Jersey – The Fair Lawn Police Department had the honor of swearing in Chief Aarav Karki as Chief for a Day.

    Chief Karki was welcomed to Memorial Middle School and sworn in by Mayor Gail Rottenstrich alongside Chief Cauwels.

    After the swearing-in ceremony, Chief Karki spoke with numerous police officers and took office to gain insight into police operations.

    The day included a visit to the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office and Courthouse, a learning experience for the young chief.

    Bayonne, New Jersey – The Bayonne Police Prefecture has officially invested a group of new agents.

    Newly appointed executives include Alan Velasco, Ashleigh Newman, Richard Bukowski, Brian Cotter, Octavio Cordova, Christopher Rocheny, Aboubacar Diawara and Alex Czerwienski.

    This addition reinforces the department’s commitment to public safety and community service.

  • Online ticket wins $100,000 in Pennsylvania Powerball

    Middletown, Pennsylvania – A Pennsylvania Lottery player from Philadelphia won a $100,000 prize with a Powerball® ticket with Power Play® purchased online for the Wednesday, June 12 drawing.

    The winning ticket corresponded to four of the five white balls drawn (19-30-31-61-62) and the red Powerball® (21). With the Power Play® multiplier of two, the price doubled from $50,000 to $100,000.
