Peacock Room hosts Summer Soul-stice show on June 20

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Come to the Peacock Room on Thursday, June 20 at 8 p.m. for a special evening Summer soul-stice show with Lovebirdsthe soulful R&B duo of singer and “New Orleans Songbird,” Robin Barnes, and her husband Pat Casey, to usher in the longest day of the year in style, good food and drink, and beautiful music.

Joining Da Lovebirds will be Denisie, a seasoned singer/songwriter originally from New Orleans with over a decade of experience in the music industry, known for her sultry, confident vocals and infectious lyrics. Denisia seamlessly blends R&B, dance, pop, and uplifting sounds, and her resume includes major album placements from Grammy-nominated artists like Tamar Braxton and Juvenile, as well as performances alongside notable artists like Fantasia and Kendrick Lamar. She just released her latest project, “My Other Side,” last month.

While enjoying the show, guests can also explore the Peacock Room’s dinner and beverage menus and enjoy delicious dishes like the Peacock Smash Burger, crispy Brussels sprouts, Rock Candy braised short ribs And NOLA Hot Chicken Sandwich, or shareable elements like Snack board.

And throughout the month of June, Peacock Room is offering special Pride Month cocktails, where $1 from every Pride cocktail sold will be donated to The Trevor Project. Drinks include Fyre Island with jalapeno-infused Novo Fogo cachaça, Oxbow spiced rum, orgeat, guava, lemon and grapefruit; THE Banana hammock with Casamigos Mezcal, Casamigos Anejo, banana, Sherry Amontillado, ginger, toasted rice and citrus; and the Alphabetical Mafia with Gentilly Gin, Aviation Gin, Yuzu Curaçao and Meletti.

Peacock Room is open for brunch on Saturday and Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dinner is served Monday and Wednesday, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Thursday and Friday, 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.; Saturday, 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.; and Sunday, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The bar is open Monday and Wednesday, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Thursday and Friday, 4 p.m. to midnight; Saturday, 10 a.m. to midnight; and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The Peacock Room is closed on Tuesdays.
