NextGen MediaMakers Festival: NextGen MediaMakers Festival 2024 Silent Film Finalists

The NextGen MediaMakers Festival competition presents the 2024 finalists in the Silent Film category.

Santa Clarita Valley high school and high school students were invited to submit videos in the categories of public service announcements, television shows, news stories, silent films and short films. A panel of media industry professionals judged each category, ranking high school and college entries respectively.

A live ceremony was held May 18 at the Canyon Country Community Center to award prizes to first, second and third place in each group. To watch images from the event, click here.

The NextGen MediaMakers Festival aims to establish a support system and network for media professionals, businesses and other organizations; and offer resources, events, courses and workshops and more to create a shared knowledge database.
