The Montgomery Police Department continues to investigate a March 16, 2024 shooting that left one victim dead and three others injured. Police are seeking the public’s help and asking anyone with details or information to come forward.

Investigators say that on Saturday evening, March 16, 2024, at approximately 11:45 p.m., police and medics responded to the 3700 block of Woodley Road, Montgomery, AL, in reference to a shooting. Police found an adult male who was fatally shot. The victim was identified as Quinton Harris, 36, of Montgomery. Harris was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police also responded to a local hospital regarding victims being treated for gunshot wounds. There, officers made contact with three adult male victims who each suffered non-life-threatening injuries, which occurred in the 3700 block of Woodley Road.

The circumstances surrounding this violent shooting remain under investigation and no further details are available at this time. Investigators and family are asking anyone who saw anything or knows anything to come forward.
