Indian students protest after cancellation of UGC-NET exam

Students are protesting in India after a renowned national entrance exam was scrapped, just a day after 900,000 candidates sat for it. The UGC-NET exam is mandatory for admission to PhD programs and for securing teaching jobs in government-funded universities. The education minister says the decision was made after it became clear the diary had been leaked. He called this an institutional failure of the National Control Agency and pledged to establish responsibilities. Ishan Garg has more from New Delhi.
