MJF says he’s ‘absolutely ready’ after returning from injury

MJF is ready to go.

MJF was dealt a blow late in his run with the AEW World Championship, as he suffered significant injuries, including a torn labrum. After losing the title to Samoa Joe at AEW Worlds End, he was away until his return at AEW Double or Nothing in May. MJF has since returned to the ring, defeating RUSH on the June 19 episode of AEW Dynamite.

Talk with FOX 5 New YorkMJF was asked if he was “ready to go again” following his injury.

“I’m ready to hit 110 million, perfect, I feel good,” MJF said. “I look great. Let’s be honest, can we get a picture of these guys (points to his abs). I’m ready, I’m ready, I’m absolutely ready.

MJF on re-signing with AEW

During the interview, MJF was also asked about re-signing with AEW. He stressed that he believed in the company.

“Look, it was a very easy decision for me, mainly because Tony Khan is paying me an exorbitant amount of money,” he said. “But apart from that, I also believe in AEW. I believe this is where the best struggle. I believe we have some of the best elite talent you can see in the world today.
