Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 Low ‘Rookie Card Home’ Release FN0432-017 – Footwear News

Trophy Room, the Orlando, Florida-based retailer owned by Michael Jordan’s son Marcus, is gearing up for the release of its latest collaboration.

After launching the Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 Low “Rookie Card Away” in March 2024, the store is following up with a semi-matching “Rookie Card Home” colorway. Both styles were first introduced in December 2023.

While the overall color schemes are the same on both pairs, the upcoming Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 Low “Rookie Card Home” features a handful of notable differences. The embroidered Swoosh is donned in white instead of black, while the rest of the changes rely on material contrast. Leather replaces the red satin used on the previous version, and the toe panel is also reworked in a new texture on the “Rookie Card Home” version. Other details, including the pre-weathered off-white midsole, textured black heel, and gold Wings heel logo, appear the same on both pairs.

The theme of both Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 Lows relies on nostalgia, with specific references to Jordan’s Fleer rookie card from 1986-87 as well as a 1984 Sports Illustrated photoshoot featuring the Air Jordans 1 “Black Toe”. Campaign clips for both pairs include storylines based on the aforementioned rookie card.

Trophy Room’s Air Jordan 1 High “Freeze Out” 2021 collaboration remains one of the most coveted versions of the model. Although its secondary market value has declined over time, StockX lists an average resale price of around $1,250 for the top-of-the-line ’21.

The Air Jordan 1 Low “Rookie Card Away” style was available not only at Trophy Room, but also on Nike’s SNKRS app and at select retailers. Unlike that pair, the “Rookie Card Home,” retailing for $140, will be released exclusively through Trophy Room.

According to an Instagram post from the retailer, an in-store drawing will take place on June 23-24 and winners will be notified on June 25. Those who win can choose to pick up the sneakers in-store or have them shipped, but all participants must be Florida residents.
