Director Kabir Khan, who recently directed ‘Chandu Champion’ and received critical acclaim, is reportedly teaming up with Salman Khan again. Reports have it that after ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and ‘Tubelight’, Kabir is set to team up with Salman again for a film titled ‘Babbar Sher’. The filmmaker is also known to have a great rapport with Katrina Kaif after working together on many projects. So, when rumours of Salman and Kabir teaming up started doing the rounds, fans started hoping that Katrina would be a part of the film.

However, in a recent interview, the ‘New York’ director refuted these rumours. He told News18, “These are just speculations in the market (laughs). There is no Babbar Sher right now.”

‘Babbar Sher’ has been touted as Kabir Khan’s most ambitious project so far. After dismissing these rumours, Kabir further revealed that he would approach Katrina for any film only if the role suits her. “Katrina is someone I have worked with on many films. I would love to work with her again. But it’s all about the script and creating content that is good enough for me to present to her. Only if I am enthusiastic will she be enthusiastic. Whenever it happens, I would love to have her back. There is absolutely no doubt that if there is suitable content, we will surely work again,” he added.

Khan also praised Kartik Aaryan for the dedication he has shown in ‘Chandu Champion’. The film is based on the life of Murlikant Petkar, India’s first Paralympic gold medallist.
