EastEnders’ Denzel Danes gets caught in iPlayer early release

EastEnders Spoilers follow Thursday’s (July 4) first episode, which is available now on the BBC iPlayer streaming service.

EastEnders Denzel Danes was caught off guard by the collapse of Nugget Gulati in the series finale.

This week, Nugget was found unconscious and taken to the hospital, where his family discovered he was taking steroids.

In the last episode, Nugget woke up in the hospital surrounded by his family, and he tried to deny his drug use when Ravi brought it up.

Although he eventually admitted to taking steroids, he refused to say who gave him the drugs, despite pressure from his father.

Meanwhile, Denzel and his family were in high spirits after his big win in the boxing ring, but he soon learned from Avani that Nugget was in the hospital and his family found out about the steroids.

The doctor told Ravi and Priya that if Nugget’s kidneys didn’t show signs of improvement soon, they would have to work out a longer-term dialysis plan.

She also said she made a request to social services and they contacted the police, who arrived at the hospital shortly after to speak to Nugget.

The police were determined to catch the drug dealers, but Nugget told them baffling lies to avoid embarrassing Denzel.

Denzel’s friends accused him of taking steroids and he denied it, but he panicked when Avani mentioned the police.

Elsewhere, Ravi confronted Zack and Phil about finding Nugget’s dealer, while Zack apologized and said he had already tried to help his son.

Howie suspected his son of doing drugs and tried to contact him, but Denzel headed to the gym to avoid him.

Zack covered for Denzel when Howie came to get him, but once alone, Zack urged Denzel to tell him what was going on.

Denzel explained the whole situation to Zack and he encouraged him to face things, so they headed to the hospital and Denzel told Ravi and Priya the truth.

Ravi was furious with Denzel, and when the police arrived, he told them that it was Denzel who was selling Nugget steroids.
