New ‘Star Wars’ Big Bad Inspired by Key Elden Ring Character

Star Wars: The Acolyte introduced the series’ new major villain, who joins the ranks of the Sith. The Stranger, as he calls himself, is a strange warrior who sheds all kinds of armor to face his enemies.. This decision was not taken lightly. The showrunner of the series admitted in a recent interview that she was inspired by the summons of Elden Ring to create the character’s personality.

And so the disturbing antagonist of Star Wars was born: The Acolyte.

“Qimir was all about figuring out how to use your body and not just stand there in a costume or be encumbered by a costume,” Leslye Headland begins in remarks to Inverse. “We were like, ‘We need to make him wear something that flows.’” As soon as I said he didn’t have armor, everyone lost their minds. “How can you not have armor?” I was like, “Why wear armor if you’re not going to get hit?” It’s like the Elden Ring costume. The Elden Bling. When you summon people, you always summon people who aren’t wearing anything, and it’s like, “These people are crazy.”

The interviewer tells Headland that her boyfriend is the same in the game, an attitude the showrunner acknowledges is part of what she’s trying to convey by putting you in life-or-death situations against the Midlands chiefs. “Yeah, We have to go with this offensive attitude, especially with these bosses. You can’t go back and panic. You have to be aggressive with them. You have to get involved.

Although it was something that had been seen in the Dark Souls franchise, playing Elden Ring naked was something that popularized the internet. Let Me Solo Her is the reference in this sense. For those who don’t know what we’re talking about, The user dedicated himself to helping players overcome one of the most difficult confrontations in the entire game: the fight against Malenia.

His nickname makes his intentions clear to whoever summons him. He would take two swords, place a frying pan on his head, and leave his body naked except for the standard loincloth. The rest is history. In fact, with the release of the DLC, his male version has now arrived. Let Me Solo Her has become Let Me Solo Him, and he now lends his services to players who wish to kill Messmer the Impaler, the protagonist face of Shadow of the Erdtree.
