Rye Police Department Message Regarding July 4th Weekend

The Rye Police Department released a brief statement Wednesday ahead of the July 4, 5 and 6 fireworks display at Playland:

“This is the Rye Town Police Department. As a reminder, as the holidays approach, parking on the beach will be strictly regulated. Playland will be hosting fireworks on July 4, 5, and 6. Expect traffic delays and detours in the area, especially between 9:00 PM and 10:00 PM. Please plan your routes and schedules accordingly. Emergency vehicles will have access throughout the town at all times. Enjoy your holidays.”
