"We have to think about it"... Rivaldo urges Barcelona to sign a player worth 60 million euros

Another individual who prefers the latter player is FC Barcelona legend Rivaldo, who, according to SPORT, has begged the Blaugrana club to sign the Spanish winger. The Brazilian believes that signing him this summer would be a very good deal for his former club:

“Considering the cost of his release clause and everything he has done, I think it is very reasonable value for money… He has been exceptional in his performances at Athletic Club this season, and now he is doing an incredible job with Spain at the EURO. He has everything it takes to succeed at FC Barcelona; the club must consider him.”

In addition to advocating his signing for FC Barcelona, Rivaldo also defended Nico and Yamal for their celebration after scoring a goal for Spain:

“Scoring a goal is so important for every player that I think everyone should celebrate it the way they want. A dance is not a provocation but a demonstration of joy from the players. Vini and Neymar were criticized for doing these dances.”

“These criticisms always come from rival teams who get upset. But I think we have to continue to live this joy and everyone has to celebrate as they wish, always respecting the opponent. It was good that they did it.”

“They play well, score goals and dance like Brazilian players do. I don’t think we should criticize, but rather applaud the players who have this personality to celebrate like that after scoring.”

Like Rivaldo, many Barcelona fans will also be eager to see Nico Williams in their team, especially after seeing his incredible chemistry with Lamine Yamal with the Spanish national team.

But a voice as important as Rivaldo’s certainly carries greater weight, and it remains to be seen whether he can influence the Catalan club to go all out for the electrifying winger.
