Love Rangeley? Consider the RLHT Ambassador Program

Jim Ferrara, RLHT Ambassador at Height of Land

If you love the Rangeley region and all the spectacular outdoor opportunities it has to offer, consider sharing that love by becoming a Rangeley Lakes Scenic Byway Ambassador for the Rangeley Lakes Heritage Trust this summer. The Byway traverses more than 200,000 acres of conserved public lands offering scenic beauty and multi-season recreation opportunities, much of which is managed by the Rangeley Lakes Heritage Trust. Learn more about the byway and find scenic stops: rlht.org/rangeley-lakes-national-scenic-byway
Ambassadors are stationed at a number of locations throughout the region Thursday through Sunday for short periods of two to three hours to greet visitors and discuss the Rangeley Lakes Heritage Trusts’ ongoing work in the area, including conservation, land stewardship and restoration projects to help preserve the unique beauty of this place. Ambassadors can also provide suggestions for trails and activities, so visitors can make the most of their experience. Ambassadors do not have to commit to a certain number of hours and are compensated for travel and time worked. For more information, contact: [email protected] or the RLHT office at 207-864-7311.
